TL;DR -- New England led to the U.S. Both have a long history. Part of our culture is having reminders of our history in terms of where we have been. In part, we do this with awareness months. We start a list of these which will be regularly recognized.

We will pay more attention to the awareness months this year, as annual reviews of events of history pertain to the culture of the U.S. Let's start with a look at currently scheduled remembrances.
- Native American - Nov -- There was a Proclamation from the White House in 2022. We have had several posts on the subjects of American Indian or Native American. An example post was on the subject of the History of Harvard, see Charles Chauncy.

- Black History - Feb -- Our post in 2019 on Black History Month.
- Women History - Mar -- Our post in 2022 on Women History Month.

- National Military Awareness - May - Sen. John McCain of Arizona (POW, Vietnam) got this started in 1999. Hawaii was the first to do a Declaration.
02/27/2023 -- Added image for Native American and Black History. We will look at Women History, again, next month.
04/16/2023 -- Added post for Arab History Month which we will continue to explore in terms of the mathematics behind AIn't.
05/29/2023 -- Added National Military Awareness.
